How to : use Makecab for mass file

Recommended Posts

Hope it help you ... :blushing:

This very simple script take each file in the current directory and compress it using makecab command.

Each cab file is put into a subdirectory ".\Cab".

The filename of the cab file is the same but has the last character replaced by an underscore (_).

Do makecab /? for more switches and explaination.

@echo Off
title MakeCab all file in current directory

FOR  %%L IN (*.*) DO makecab %%L /L ".\Cab"

exit

It was very helpful for me ! I hope it could help you to :)
