winpe 2004 and x64

Hiya

Have successfully built my dell precision 380 with a customised cd-rom and a winnt.sif file. Now I would like to move on to network installs and test unattended installs of w23x64.

Created winpe 2004 x64 based usb key to boot with. Pre installation environment loads ok and displays splash sceen with xpx64 boots into the GUI and resizes the bitmap then reboots without warning.

Can anyone help or seen this already.?

I need to test the 32-bit version to see if it was the same result.

Do i need to load chipset drivers into winpe minint for this to work?

Are you sure that it is pe 2004 you are using?

Usb boot isn't supported before 2005 and I'm not sure about 64 bit either
