AutoSwitching Keyboard Layout

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have seen this problem on some clients, but i have not been able to recreate it, or find a solution.

The problem is that if I have 2 available languages for my keyboard, i.e English and German, and German as default, and I get a mail which is written in English, I paste the bodytext of the mail into word, which "recognizes" that the text is English, and switches keyboard layout automtically.

Word 2003 is used, the client is XP, and it is objected in an AD.

I suspect that there is a Group Policy which defines this "intelligence" as default, and I which to turn it off.

Does anyone have a clue? I even think I have seen the Policy, but I might have dreamt it, and I cannot find it again.

Thanks
