Here is my network straight up and simple, as you will see my problem is windows metric will either be higher or lower than the other therefore defaulting to one or the other.

(old bridged network, no router which im thinking about doing a cisco solution and calling it a day but I dont want too)

T1 bridged on 192.168.0.254 jacked into my colo switch intel pro100/1000

Cable modem #1 on 192.168.0.2 routed using SMC 4 port linked to intel

Cable modem #2 on 192.168.0.5 routed using Linksys DI614 4 port linked to intel

Dual 56k backup modem box on 192.168.0.7 routed by itself bridged to intel

WLAN 3mbit to my parents house p2p bridged on 192.168.0.250 .251 on parents side to intel

ok now without the cisco controlling all this I know its ugly but just as a case-in-point question and answer from you guys is can this be done without cisco or 3rd party software...?

Part 1) connection teaming / load-balancing on both of the cable modem for free fast downloading and most usage from network wide.

Part 2) T1 as my fallback main backup. (with virtual routes for web/email/blah server on linux, which is another part of my question would linux do/be able to do all this without spending a G on a cisco 26xx or 27xx?)

Part 3) WLAN just transparent to pass-through traffic (already setup but most merge in with new routes/setup)

Part 4) 56k as final leg of internet before I know my world is really gone! =)

Thanks guys, you've always helped me tons in the past, don't fail me now!
