Repair/reinstall windows xp Service

In my windows xp service, i'm missing alerter and workstation service. I would like to know how i can get them back.?

btw, how can i repair or reinstall missing windows xp services.?

I had something like this a while ago. I would look into your device manager and show all devces. Use the unhide option and look into the hidden section non pnp. Also check your event viewer. 1 device file might be fl;agged. I forget twhich 1 I deleted to get these back. You could also try a windows repair.
