Only way to have a password on a screensaver is to have a login password protected. Ive heard this from several others, not 100% but its worth a try.

i have login password protected...but when i log in the only option is "on resume, display welcome screen" they have them password protected at compUSA so there has to be a way....maybe if i log in as admin....

Yes, this displays the Welcome Screen and from there you have to type in your password to log in again.

However, if you are talking about the way you used to Log In/Lock your system in Win 2K, then go to User Accounts/Change the way users log on/off and disable the welcome screen........
