Learning to Drive

Featured Replies

Okay. One of my friends is arguing with me over where is the best place to learn to drive. Country roads or city roads? Furthermore, which is more dangerous?

to start to learn i would go country, heck of alot safer and easier to get the feel of the car

the city is vry dangerous, vry confusing

Best place to start learning how to drive is the country. Less obstacles, less hazards to you and others.

Once the driver is comfortable with handling the car (i.e. has a feel for the controls), then move on to the city. It's a big change having to deal with traffic and stupid, unpredictable drivers...

Oh... and always, always, always shoulder-check!!!! I can't stand it when people just move lanes right into you...
