Thanks for removing restriction on editing own posts. I see you have now made the "Edited By" tag non-optional. This is perfect solution. Much less intrusive and restrictive than time limit, and it also makes it obvious to reader that it is not their imagination that the post has been altered. Bravo!

I'm just wondering... (if it's not too difficult)... if the "Edited by" tag would appear only if you've edited the post after a certain period of time, or if the post is no longer the latest?

Sometime's I'll post something manually entering tags for bold/italics/urls, and then find that I've forgotten to close a tag or something similar, so I have to go back and edit it (all within a minute).
