Brian50 Posted June 6, 2005 Share Posted June 6, 2005 trying to load win 95 or 98 apps in xp when compatibility mode doesn't work.I searched for hours on end looking for helpfull workarounds.the program is MS sidewinder joystick 3.0 profiler softwareit wants to load direct x 5.x then stops. I've tried copying files to desktop and use Comp mode but no go.I have an old flight sim game that l won't give up on,and don't want to buy another joystick just to use in xp.I have win2k and it won't work on it either.Problem is I want a stable OS and run all my apps and not have 3 computers to do what (1) should ...lolany help thanks in advance..
