Logon after logoff registry tweak

Hello everbody, first my compliments for this forum and it's site.

I used to use tweakprograms to tweak my windows but now i want to do it myself.

I use a program called "TuneUp Utilities 2004", in this program i could set an option to make windows login automatically after i logoff so i can never really logoff (and i don't have to type the password :) ).

I 've search the internet and this forum and i can't find a registry tweak which does that.

Does someone know the registry tweak?

Don't know the tweak offhand, but here's how you could find out:

- download RegShot or InstallRite

- take your 1st "shot"/capture

- apply the changes like normal from the program you mentioned

- take your 2nd "shot"/capture

- use RegShot/InstallRite to compare what changed and (hopefully) find the

registry value your looking for.

otherwise maybe somebody who knows the exact tweak might pop by, anyway good luck ;)

@ Acid Ghost: no prob ;)

@Martin Zugec:

since you mentioned it, my curiousity about RegMon got the best of me. I was just looking at its homepage (sysinternals) and the ability to monitor changes from specific applications seems very interesting. What I couldn't find was anything mentioning output.

Can RegMon make .reg files (or save the changes in a .txt like RegShot) ? I'd be very interested in switching to that instead if so, and if not I'll still prolly try later (sounds like it could be very useful :D )

to make windows login automatically after i logoff so i can never really logoff

Apart from fast user switching, I don't know what else it is, or the logic behind it.

If it's FSW, then there's a reg key...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

AllowMultipleTSSessions

REG_DWORD: 1
