Hi,

After coming in Monday morning and discovering a network card faliure to our server we managed to get the server back up and working... Now the Server logs a ticket everytime a user logs in, tries to go onto a network share, enter email etc, it lets them do this but we have never received this error before. Also to make things a little more interesting, after a user logs in there is an error appearing in their event log that its unable to find the default domain policy on the serer. The DNS in updating correctly and the DHCP is working well but not sure if this is causing problems with other applications... The event id is 677, Category is Account Login, Source is Serurity, Type is faliure, User is NT Authority/system, Detail shows the following, Service Ticket Requesst Failed: Ticket Options 0x40800000, faliure code - 7

Our machine is running Windows 2000 SP3, we have previously tried installing SP4 but had problems with bringing Exchange back up and working after re-booting... Although if there are any tips about installing SP4 on an SBS 2000 server machine they would be very gratefully received...

Thanks for your help
