hey dudes,

I want to ask a question in IE. :P

I m using IE .6 for brwsing..

i did "Complete auto use" option for remebering the "User names " that i type for each n every site...

so say i have a site "www.xyz.com"

and i have "auser" , "buser" for logining in ths site!

so if i press the down arrow in the sign here box i will get both of the user names one below the other...

say if i need to remove "auser" alone from the list is it possible to do ????

clearing history deletes all the user names from the list...

i dont want that option to go ...

reagrds,

Ootsoo

you could try searching throught the registry i think they are saved there - somewhere in there, after you find one press F3 (Find Next) because it could be saved somewhere else as well

hey buddy ,

can u be more specific on the search string...

shld i search using the log on name in the registries???

respond, :P

regards,

Ootsoo

yeah search for the one you want to remove

If you cant find it there then it must be stored somewhere else

by now it would have been easier to delete them all and then just typed in the one you wanted at the right login dialog

I dont know what else there is i reckon just delete them and start over or search google and try to find a 3rd party program that can do it.

in win xp pro there is gpedit.msc

so if you run this command

and you search a little in there you will find the answer!!!!!!
