Jason1625
Okay, I have this environment that is just about set up, but for some reason I can't list computers in my domain. But I can look at what they have shared, view the active directory list, and completly use active directory. I have looked through domain policies and did not notice something that would restrict list contents for the domain. I've already searched on google for a solution, so anything that anyone could offer would be appreachiated.C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXXXX>net view \\serverShared resources at \\serverShare name Type Used as Comment-----------------------------------------------------------------Shared DiskNETLOGON Disk Logon server shareSYSVOL Disk Logon server shareVPHOME Disk Symantec AntiVirusVPLOGON Disk Symantec AntiVirusThe command completed successfully.C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXXXX>net viewSystem error 6118 has occurred. The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently availableC:\Documents and Settings\XXXXXXX>The only thing I can find mentions firewalls. There was no firewall installed on here, and the windows firewall was turned off as well as the service. Thanks,Jason
TT99
Without going through this is total detail, the article you need to read from Microsoft is a s follows:http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...fi_brs_OYNW.aspThe trouble shooting section is excellent and should be able to help you in defining what is wrong. Good luck.
