Hi there

I got this error when xp start the setup

File \i386\ntkrnlmp.exe could not be found.

The error code is 14.

what can i do !!!!!

I got that error the other day, shortly afterward my DVD-ROM drive packed in living and has now been filed in the bin.

Check your hardware and your media. If both are ok, then I can't help. Also if you are using a virtual machine then this is not going to be of much help either, as all hardware is virtual.

Need more info. Did you try a search for ntkrnlmp.exe ? Other people have had problems with this file before, usually after hacking it.
