avdhorst Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Hi All,I was just wondering if there is a possibility to assign a static drive letter for a usb-key. I will want use for example drive X as static drive for my usb-key. Is this possbile, for example by using a registry tweak or something because I want deploy it to 600 workstations. Thanks for your help.Lex.
truevenik Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 I was able to change letters of usb drives in winXP by pluging in the drive, right-clicking 'my computer' -> 'manage', selecting 'disk management', right clicking on the drive letter currently assigned to your drive, and going 'change drive letter and paths..'for more info, check out http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;EN-US;234048
