Install File Copy Error

Featured Replies

hi,

Ive managed to do my first unattended XP install with no significant problems until i try to install.

I get this error when copying files

An error occured copying file ASH1205.sys to C:\$WIN_NT$~BT\ASH1205.sys

The file is missing

The procedures ive been through so far are as follow:

--- Used nlite to add service pack

--- Used nlite to add RyanVMs hotfix pack

--- Used Method 1 for Bashrats Driver packs, added all packs successfully

--- Copied files across and ran RUN_ME.cmd

--- Used CDIMAGE to create the iso

Everything seemed to go fine, have I forgotten to do anything?

continued setup to see if anything else was missing and yes there is. Next error I get is kodak_dc.icm cannot be copied.

One thing im a little confused with Bashrats install method 1 is that the winnt.sif ends up blank except for a line saying it was generated by bashrat. Shouldn't this have items linking to the drivers or does the driver pack install script do that some other way.

this problems relates back to the bashrat driver pack , i`v had the same issue.

He fixed this in his latest version of his driverpack base 5.05.1.
