FRANK ZAPPA Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Will longhorn have the ability to flash the system BIOS within a 32bit environment?
boooggy Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 i think your question is wrong. many motherboards have utilities to flash the bios within windows. so for every mobo there is an app. u want longhorn to have one for all?
getwired Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Not possible to have one app for all - not unless every BIOS vendor agreed on a format - doubtful. More and more BIOS vendors already provide the ability to update their BIOS's from within Windows - it's not hard to do. My Motion Computing Tablet more than two years ago, had support for that.
