Setup Thunderbird for users

Hi,

I have a problem. I got thunderbird to be installed on all the computers on campus. Great but i have another challege. they want me to be able to set all the server information for the user so all they have to do is type in the username and password and my script will setup there accounts for them. does any one know how or know of any good links i should check out?
