ricky777 Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 After configuring nlite to install WinXP without floppy support, I now need to use the floppy drive. duh! Any ideas how to get WinXP to recognize my floppy drive? I've tried to get it to automatically detect it to no avail. Even using the original Windows install CD doesn't solve the problem. Is it a setting in the registry or something else that I need to change?
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Eh... the none-nLited disc will just work fine. nLite again without removing floppy support.I don't see how this is related to the DriverPacks?Moved to Device Drivers.
ricky777 Posted April 30, 2005 Author Posted April 30, 2005 But is there anything I can do to the current installed O/S to have floppy support? If I can avoid it, I'd rather not reinstall again.
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Sorry, can't help you there. But personally I think it's easier to just reinstall your current OS, it would take less time than the research to get it working again...
