loosing VPN conn. behind a router!

Hi all,

I'm behind a netgear router, and i'm VPNning to a remote site... i get connected and authinticated fine, but after almost 2 minutes, i loose connectivity!!! and in order to get it back is i have to disconnect the VPN and connect again.

I decided to do some troubleshooting, so i found out that if I removed the router and directly connect to the internet with Windows firewall, i don't loose connectivity!!!

What could be the problem? any feedback would be apreciated.

Personally, I'd like to know how you successfully managed to setup a VPN connection with a Netgear router, I've failed miserably myself!
