pfarmer Posted May 2, 2005 Share Posted May 2, 2005 Cleanest way:For the USER:1. Login;2. Right-Click My Computer->Properties3. Advanced Tab4. Environment Variables5. User Variables for <username> - under here you can change where the temp files are storedI always change the temp dir. to c:\temp instead of the silly c:\documents and settings\ etc etc FOR THE SYSTEM:Under System Variables of the same window:Edit the TEMP and TMP variables to from C:\Windows (or C:\WINNT)\Temp to whatever eg. c:\temp d:\temp e:\temp etcetc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
