windows 98 and service pack

smilieLOR=purple]I have done the most recent updates with the 98 service pack. but I need to update to windows Xp upgrade I was wondering if I can do the upgrade without any problems with the service pack installed. CAN I EXPECT A SMOOTH TRANSITION.
