Svchost.exe

Featured Replies

Approximately one out of four times, I get a svchost.exe application error upon startup of Windows XP Home SP2. I can't find the cause of this error, my computer is virus/malware free. How can I find the source of this error and/or stop it from happening. When it comes up again I'll post more details.

Why dont u give us a list of your startup appz.

What it does is to load the Services, so the problem may be in there

HI

Svchost.exe can be an area harbouring undected viruses that your installed antivir/mal programs haven't detected. I would suggest using some more additional antivir scanning to assure yourself that you don't have a vir/mal problem

just a thought

cheers
