Hello everyone.

I'm new to this forum so bare with me please.

I've been using the search option for days now so please don't tell me to try that one first ;)

I've made an unattended WinXp cd with SP1 slipstreamed and all hotfixes.

Now when I run my installation, it comes up with 2 pop up screens which ofcourse I don't want.

Now my question is if anyone know how I get rid of these pop up windows?

I've enclosed them as an attachment.

Please help me :blushing:

Thanks in advance :thumbup

GDI detection is distributed through Windows Update.

Screen resolution - did you include resolution settings in unattend.txt? E.g.

[Display]

BitsPerPel=24

Xresolution=1024

YResolution=768

Vrefresh=85

Like Soulin said, GDI is distributed through Windows Update so if you have it slipstreamed or included with your build process, simply remove it.

The video settings you'll just have to adjust until you find the right resolution for your video card and monitor.

800x600 @60HZ tends to work most of the time.

There's no need to remove the GDI detection - it can be added as a registry entry instead of installing the update - search the forum for the proper entry to add.

Make sure you install something like Office or .Net framework before you add the regedit to be on the safe side, and everything should be fine.
