dman Posted April 20, 2005 Share Posted April 20, 2005 If it came with the install disks for included software (if any) then just do a full new install of xp pro, only choose "upgrade" if you got a lot of time invested or software that you can't replace. Upgrade usually works ok when windows is fairly new (ie. before any registry errors creep in) but full install is better. You can do a full install from xp pro "upgrade" disk if you have other windows version. It will check your disk to determine if you already own windows, else will ask you to insert cd if you format the drive first. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
