jimwillsher
It runs fine. However, I think you need SQL Server 2000 PERSONAL, as opposed to STANDARD or ENTERPRISE. I stand to be corrected, but I believe this is the case.I'm using SQL Server Personal on my PC. No real differrences btween it and standard.Jim
lucas4394
I am taking SQL Server 2000 training course. I asked my instructor whether i could install SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition in Windows XP Pro., what she recommanded was the same as Jim said --- Personal Edition is a good choice. However, i only have enterprise edition, somehow, i am afraid that if i dont' install SQL Server correctly,it may damage xp , actually, i just guess .It is very painful to reinstall xp on my machine cuz it takes almostone hour to finish.
