Problem using "Unattended XP CD guide" Navigation

Featured Replies

Hi all

I am having a problem with navigating the Unattended XP CD guide found at

http://unattended.msfn.org/

The problem is that when I hold my mouse over the navigation buttons along the top, the drop down is covered by the advertisement underneath.

OS: Windows 98

Browser: Internet Explorer 5

upgrade your IE to at least 5.5 to see if this fixes the problem if not IE6 should do it.

The problem is that the google ads are viewed in an iframe (created by the google javascript - so its not apparent by viewing the page source)

The same thing happens with drop down menus and input boxes - ie the input box appears above the drop down when it opens, so you can't see the menu options.

Try viewing the site in Firefox first, but definately think about upgrading IE.

I had the same problem, using Opera beta 8 and windows XP pro. Really annoying, but switching to Internet Explorer 6 fixed it. Although some strange behavior there too: First time it seemed normal, menues were above the ads. Second time, the menues still were above, but with transparent background.. But it works!
