HighDarkTemplar
Haven't done so yet, found it using MSconfig. Scanned it, but no result. Probably not spyware either? Is it some kind of windows update thingy or is it from some stuff that i've installed?Best RegardsNerevar
DiGGiTY
I did a google on it, and nothing is returned. It is not a system file... thats for sure. I'd rename it and see if anything you need is using it before deleting it.

DiGGiTY
If you rename it, you can always rename it back.

To me, it does sound like spyware. What is the date of the file, and are there any other files with similar dates?? Also, check and see if it is currently running as a process. If you have a bunch other files with similar 7-8 characted garbled names running, you got spyware/malware running. Are there a bunch of similar files in the registry under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and RunOnce. The only way I have had 100% success in getting rid of that crap is to boot off of something like a Bart PE or ERD Commander 200x cd and manually nuke the files from windows and the registry. Good luck...
