Need help

I have problem with my com1 port that can only be solved with uninstaling the device com1 and installing it again. Is it posible to remove and install it with some kind of batch file? The computer is in some remote location and the girl who works on the computer is rather dumb

you english is fine. You need to use devcon. it is the command line device manager. I have attached it to this post. Just do a search and you will see how to use devcon.
