CopyMoveTo Entry

Featured Replies

I have a xp sp2 unattened cd with ryan's hotfixes, driverpacks, WMP10 slipstreamed, along with using nLite to ONLY remove componets.

My problem is when I right click, I get the "Copy To" and "Move To" options. I don't want these, and I am unable to trace how they get loaded.

I load a reg file with my tweaks from my install.cmd, and I made sure that the Copy/Move to entry was NOT in it.

This is the reg key that comes outta nowhere:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CopyMoveTo

with the vaule set as:

{51131DA7-1D24-40e5-AE07-5E3750F5DE3C}

The only thing I can think that might be causing this is nLite........but again I only used nLite to remove stuff.

Any ideas on how that gets there? :blink:

edit: I found these entries too:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CopyMoveTo

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CopyMoveTo

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CopyMoveTo

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CopyMoveTo
