I already understand that .Net doesn't like to be installed from the CD. Are there more programs ppl know of that have this problem? I would like to install as many features from CD as possible, since it saves time copying during setup And defrag impact is alot less.

Just keep trying your programs and see if they like to be installed from the HD, its really the best way. No one can tell you because we dont know what you are trying to install.
