N1K Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Here's the situation:I have a laptop which is mostly used by me, and rarely by few other department colleagues..I want to deny access to my profile folder to anyone who uses this laptop..I have set permissions on profile folder so that only I have full control permission and removed all other entries from the list...I've taken ownership of the folder and even tried to put an encryption on it but in every case another user who has to be i local administrators group can take ownership of the folder and grant himself permissions he wants...Is it possible to resolve this or maybe some third-party tool which can help me...Thx all in advance...
N1K Posted April 4, 2005 Author Posted April 4, 2005 I've fixed it with changing the user who can take ownership of the files in local security policy (administrator is default)...If anyone has better suggestion please let me know...
