Outlook Help!

Featured Replies

Hi

I have windows 98 installed on my computer.

I did not do any microsoft updates for some time. I decided to run a update, it found many patches and updates that I needed so I ran them.

After they have been downloaded and the computer has been restarted everything was fine until I decided to open up Outlook. It seems that it downloaded a new version of Outlook and all my old messages, contacts and info has been deleted.

Without this info I am doomed as I need it for my work.

Anyway help will be life saving.

Thanks

Geoff

First thing is to check for is .pst files. These are files that store all your mail. Do a serach of your hard disk looking for *.pst. It could be that you are using a different mail profile, go to start > settings > control panel and click on the mail icon. See if there are any profiles in there.
