March 31, 200521 yr I'm not creating a multi-boot disk, but this doesn't really fit anywhere else either....I have created an unattended win xp sp2 disk, with runonceex.cmd, and on the text setup portion (you know, the part with the blue screen) i have a whole list of files missing, starting with txtsetup.ini. i have re-copied files off the original disk, and recompiled and tryed everything i can think of. maybe UltraISO is the problem? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
April 1, 200521 yr Have you modified your distro at all? (EX - used nlite to reduce source, or 'gosh's method' ?Are you starting from a windows xp cd or a recovery distro provided by dell, hp, etc?If you have the cd i suggest using something simple and to the point to SS and build your ISO like AutoStreamer. Test it and if it works we can better pinpoint your problem
April 2, 200521 yr Author I'm using a Windows XP SP2 CD I got through MSDN Acadedimic Aliance (Through my school) and at first I used nlite, but then when i did everything manually, it worked. (cept i called it svcpack.ini not svcpack.inf) is there any known bugs with nlite like this?
April 2, 200521 yr Author Now I have a new problem, I have gotten through the textsetup part, but after copying files and rebooting, it says "Please Wait While Windows Initializes......." and it freezes on loading dmreg.inf. how do I fix this?
