Silvereyes Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Hi All,Does anyone know where I can find an good .inf file creation/editing tool.I have tried both sysdiff and INF-Tool lite without much success. What I am trying to do is create custom installers for some small applications which I include as part of my 'base' install.Any help would be much appreciated.
dman Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 I don't know about inf editor, but there are several good freeware installation makers... maybe one of them would do what you want?http://www.freebyte.com/hjinstall/http://gkware.com/gksetup/comparison.htmhttp://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php
Silvereyes Posted March 30, 2005 Author Posted March 30, 2005 Thanks for the suggestions dman.Unfortunately these type of installers cannot be used during certain parts of the gui phase of an unattended install.
dabbble Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I use this tool:InfConverter 1.1b by Voltaic voltaic@ou.edu - Please put infconverter somewhere in the subject! http://voltaic.servebeer.com[Description] A program that will allow conversion from Regedit format to Windows .inf "AddReg" and "DelReg" (i think) format.(needs java installed) & is a very powerful tool.
