Hi all...I am exhausted of ideas....on staurday night I opened up my IE and my computer is frozen. I tried ending the IE process but that din't work.

I rebooted my PC (hard boot) and ever since...it will freeze on the "windows is starting up..." screen.

I installed no new hardware. I check the fans and everything in the case looks fine. Checked HW monitor. all fans and temp are normal.

So I just thought maybe a HW driver was corrupted and toasted my system.

So I just try to repair it with the windows CD. but that didn't go well...I got the "blue screen of death" on boot up.

So I wiped it and reinstall...everything goes fine...after the install..I upgraded to SP2 from the SP2 CD I got from MS. but as soon as that is done....the PC would freeze again when I open IE (Later I noticed anything to do with explorer or IE will freeze it) and upon cold boot it will do the samething...stuck at the staup screen.

PC seems to be fine if I do a regular install...but as soon as I updgrade to SP2 it will freez when I open IE.

I tried installed all the critial updates first before installing the SP2 but still no go...

I even tried upgrading my Bios to the latest version...but still the same thing....

I am exhausted and need help...any one have some suggestions?
