Just curious ... now everyone knows you can barely uninstall directx 9. I wish i knew how. I just bought Starfleet Command 3 and i have directx 9 installed it says i need 8.1 or higher. SO the questions is .. if i cant uninstall this .. does anyone know any software where i can emulate and fool windows or the games into thinkining i have 8.1 running ... thank you.

this isnt supported for XP but give it a go, alot have had no problems, if that dont work have you just tried to install 8.1?
