Xp Blue Screen During Logout

I hope someone can help me make sense of this. Ever since I upgraded to Service Pack 2, XP will throw up a blue screen every time I try to log out or restart. Now at first I thought it was a bad SP2 install. I did a repair install of XP, which removed SP2. No problems during logout with SP1. I again installed SP2 and it is happening again. after saw your post i said ****, man!!!! sorry to say that but your windows is messed up good.

i propose clean install. slipstream sp2 into your xp cd and install.

Wipe the drive clean and do the install, or just install over the top of what I've got?
