ppl, anyone here know where can i get drivers for canon multipass C20 ? [fax/scanner/printer]

i've tried the drivers for win9x but it didn't worked... :hohum

if anyone have drivers or knows where they are, plz.. mail me

If you have a piece of software that refuses to install because it

says that you are not running Windows 2000 (such as the Win2K drivers

for a Mustek scanner!!) you can simply edit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/WindowsNT/CurrentVersion/ProductName

to say Microsoft Windows 2000 instead of XP and it will install. You

may also have to edit the version number or build number, depending on

how hard the program tries to verify that you are installing on the

correct OS. I had to do this for my Mustek 600 CP scanner

(compatibility mode didn't help!!!) and it worked great, so I now have

my scanner working with XP (and a tech at Mustek can now eat his

words).

I dont have your canon printer, but I did have a canon that was not supported and what I did was installed the 98 drivers, accepting they were not XP certified. I then right clicked on the printer device and told it to run the printer in compatibility mode. It worked. Now I can use that old printer on my XP machine. Give it a go, tell us what your results are.

If that does not work, you have two options

A. NEW PRINTER

B. DUAL BOOT
