dos_attack_ph Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 i got stylexp running in stable condition until yesterday when styles doesn't load up. icons, logons, bootscreen are all good except for the visual styles. after tries of resolving and reboots i found out that the "use visual styles on windows and buttons" under performance options is left uncheck to my surprise. so checking it back gives me the style i wanted but after reboot it switches back to classic view and the option "use visual styles..." is again unchecked. but if i checked it and use the default themes (blue, green, silver) and reboot, it's working fine. but if i use a stylexp theme then reboot, it switches back to the classic view and again the option is left unchecked. stylexp got an option of "load themes at startup" so i checked it but it slows down my booting cause it always loads the themes at startup and it wasn't like this before wherein at startup it's automatically loaded until this abnormal behavior.any idea why this option is always left unchecked after reboot? it's not like this before. thanks in advance!
