Recommended Posts

ECHO Removing useless shortcuts...

RD /S /Q  "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories"

Sure... I suppose I don't need to get to Defrag.... or Wordpad... or Calculator....

Kinda harsh don't ya think?

Umm I dont need a start menu shortcut to know how to use my PC.

Defrag = start, run, dfrg.msc

Worpad is useless. OpenOffice and Notepad are my choices. start, run, notepad

Calc = start, run, calc

Yeah, I knew that was coming. That's what I get for my first post here. LOL. I know how to use a computer too. My point was just that if I were setting up XP for somebody else (which I do frequently), I sure wouldn't delete their Accessories folder or the Games folder for that matter. I do delete all the other things you listed though. I just think its probably a good idea to keep those 2 folders for the non-techie users. You have to admit that probably 90% of the population would be lost without them.
