At0mic Posted April 19, 2005 Share Posted April 19, 2005 or if you cant afford a server os, you have two choices:1. use win98 or linux for sharing files2. continue using 2000 pro but reduce the sharing timeout delay in the registry so that when a users hasn't accessed the server for a while, they timeout much quicker. This way, you could get away with maybe 15 connections, though it will still be 10 at any one time (therefore not a violation).
