I have found that is the best place to get rid of spyware/hijacking rubbish.I also googled your "pest" and came across this, it is in Dutch but from the 2nd post the hi-jack this log looks like it is sorted, maybe you could compare this.LINKHope that it helps.Cheers.........
icechris69 Posted March 17, 2005 Author Posted March 17, 2005 hey "tomcat"thx for ur reply, but unfortunatly i did run in safe mode and in admin. ....it stuck around till late yesterday when me and a friend finally killed it then we downloaded Trojan Hunter and got the starpage.16.m trojan worm....working on killing it now ....lolol well thx for ur help and best wishesicechris69

Please create a permanent folder for HijackThis (I suggest C:\HJT or C:\HijackThis) and move the HijackThis program there. HijackThis will create a number of backup files which may be lost, along with HijackThis, if left in a temporary folder.
