Invalid Product Id After Slipstreaming

Hello

I am trying to upgrade my laptop O/S, from WinXPHome pre-installed with SP2, to XP Prof. Since the CD I had does not contain SP2 on it, I used slipstreaming (NLite) to get SP2 integrated with the CD. I have burned that image, which is XP Prof + SP2, to a CD.

When I try to upgrade, it gives me an error that "The Product Id which you entered is invalid. Please try again."

I have tried entering the key for XP Pro from the CD as well as the XP home key for the laptop. It does not work.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The OEM product key will not be valid for the upgrade and it "looks like" the other key is blacklisted.
