Powerdvd 6 Will Not Load

I recently installed the Cyberlink PowerDVD v6 and am having trouble getting it to work.

It installed fine. I go to click on the icon to run it, and nothing pops up. According to the Task Manager, a PowerDVD.exe program IS running, but there are no visual signs of it anywhere.

I run Win XP SP2, already uninstalled divx and xvid, already reinstalled powerdvd 6, but on windows 2000, it runs just fine.

Any ideas on this one?

uninstall powerdvd without saving your old settings ( a popup come to ask you to save your old settings, say no) then install it again. it must me working now.

problem is solved by deinstalling microsoft antispyware
