KAndle
Are you running a Norton Firewall? Try disabling you firewall first and then try. I've seen Norton cause ie6 to not load all pictures. It was an incorrect setting.
KAndle
I think those are all ads that are being blocked. I'm not sure you need to see them. I have similar results on computers with Bloatbusters Silencer installed. It writes all kind of ad sites to the LMHOSTS file and points them to localhost so they can't load. It may not be broken but a feature of something you installed.
nirre
thx for replying i dont have none of the mentioned programs installed - i have a router with fw included though.. but it have worked before with this router..and of course is it as you pointed out its usually ads that are being blocked - with its not such a bad thing - but some pages look funny so.. not to shure what to do about it.. wullieb1
They look like ads that are being blocked by some piece of software. Do you have anything installed that may cause this??
kyuuzo
Try looking in this file and see if anything is directed to localhostC:\WINXP\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

wullieb1
Spybot can do this by adding in its own records into your hosts file.I wouldn't recommend deleting the file.No ads is good news for me though.
