What Does Appmgr.dll Do

hi

while I am installing xp pro from cd (this is not a nlite version ) I get a file copy error

cant find appmgr.dll press esc to continue then xp carries on with no errors

windows seems to run ok while useing it with no errors but what does this file do

and should I copy it from my cd

It is the DLL used by the Group Policy editor to handle policies regarding Software Installation.
