DigeratiPrime Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 if you want to disable the shell extensions (right click options) for WMP those keys have been posted, try Searching the Forums here. You could also use ShellExViewhttp://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.htmlUnless you mean something else?
SiMoNsAyS Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 ;remove "WMP Play Folder As Playlist Launcher"[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{7D4734E6-047E-41e2-AEAA-E763B4739DC4}];remove "WMP Burn Audio CD Launcher"[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{8DD448E6-C188-4aed-AF92-44956194EB1F}];remove "WMP Play As Playlist Launcher"[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{CE3FB1D1-02AE-4a5f-A6E9-D9F1B4073E6C}];remove "WMP Add To Playlist Launcher"[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{F1B9284F-E9DC-4e68-9D7E-42362A59F0FD}]these are some from my particular collection lol
Slimy Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I'm thinking that he's talking about right clicking music files in wmp10, this is probably part of windows as you said, but it's definitely not in the registry, it will be part of a file and you would need to reshack it, problem is, i never found the file :/
rocksoccer Posted February 20, 2005 Author Posted February 20, 2005 SiMoNsAyS, thank you very muchby the way, i ve found a way to remove them much easier.just remove all items in regedit pointing to c:/windows/system32/wmpshell.dllthats enough!!, but u cannot choose what to preserve. the only pity
