vageenadispenser Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 hi everyone!i had this problem since i installed win98se instead of win2k which ran slowly on mi celeron 466.someone told me i can't use my mmc card reader with win98!is it true?anyway,i've got this mmc card reader/writer that is recognised by win98 as a usb mass storage device.since i've got no cd drivers,and don't even know the manufacturer,can you please tell me how i can use it?i need some generic drivers for this device.and i can't find them anywhere!please help,i don't want to use win2k and let bill win this batttle!thank you and sorry for my english
Fredledingue Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Go to "Unofficial Win98 SE Service Pack" section' main topic, http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=38183The Service Pack has a fix for usb mass storage.It may not resolve your problem since it's not realy a mass storage here. Some drivers may be needed. The SP is recommanded anyway since it fixes many issues.
