slimzky Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 hi i wnt 2 to test my Unattended cd using virtual machine, but i want a virtual drive w/c has the partitions C, D, E & F (same as my current drive)my current drive has 40gb capacity only...c --windows 10gbd --programs 15gbe --documents 10gbf --mp3's 10gbin short, i want to test it in a virtual machine & virtual drive same as my PC..by the way im using Microsoft Virtual PC trial...sorry for redundancy... im not good in english...

prathapml Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 slimzky, you can easily do it.A virtual PC is the same as your real PC - but harmless.Boot up from any bootable disk and start a partitioning tool and partition it to how your real HD is set up. Normally you can assign just the bare minimum but simulate a far larger HD - provided your VM software permits and you don't ACTUALLY fill up your virtual disk to 40 GB.
